A disturbance at a Walmart on Fry Road led to a tense confrontation and subsequent arrest on Thursday, according to Constable Mark Herman's Office. A female deputy, dispatched to the scene after reports of a man causing a disturbance, encountered Anthony Williams and instructed him to exit the premises.
The situation escalated when, during the escort out, Williams produced a 3-inch knife and pointed it toward the deputy. The moment of aggression prompted his detention at the scene, where he was identified. In a statement obtained by Constable Mark Herman's Facebook page, it was revealed that "Anthony Williams was arrested and booked into Harris County Jail, charged with Aggravated Assault on a Public Servant. His bond was set at $60,000.00 out of the 487th District Court."
