A man was fatally shot in McKeesport on Monday, with the incident taking place in the 500 block of Lysle Boulevard. The emergency services responded to a call received at 10:53 a.m. Upon arrival at the scene, they discovered the victim lying in the road, having sustained a gunshot wound, as reported by WPXI.
The man, whose identity has not yet been released, was pronounced dead at the scene. The Allegheny County Police Department's Homicide Unit is currently leading the investigation into the shooting. Allegheny County police are asking the public to possibly help provide information that could lead to a better understanding of the events that culminated in this tragedy.
