Gunfire erupted on the streets of Baltimore's Western District this morning, leading to one individual being struck by a bullet. According to the Baltimore Police Department, At around 10:12 a.m., patrol officers were on foot near West North Avenue at Pennsylvania Avenue when the sound of shots broke the city's hum. Officers immediately scoured the area and found a 31-year-old male with a gunshot wound that, fortunately, was determined to be non-life-threatening.
The incident happened on the 1600 block of West North Avenue, an area that often faces violence in the city. The victim received prompt medical attention as paramedics responding to the scene transported him to an area hospital for treatment, and the identity of the victim has yet to be released.
