Early Sunday morning, tragedy struck a northeast Houston neighborhood when a man was discovered dead in the street, the aftermath of a violent altercation that occurred around midnight in the 13800 block of Greenranch, the man was found lying face down showing signs of severe injuries; he was taken to Kingwood Hospital but, unfortunately, was pronounced dead, according to FOX 26 Houston.
Details about the incident remain sparse, the Harris County Sheriff's Office has yet to name any suspects in connection with the man's death and they are seeking assistance from the community, prompting individuals who might have any information to come forward as they work to unravel the circumstances that led to this grievous occurrence, as stated in a report by CW39.
The deceased, whose identity has not been publicly released, was discovered on an otherwise nondescript dead-end street where authorities suggest, he and several other individuals became embroiled in a dispute that escalated to the fatal encounter, the details of which remain under investigation.
