
The Matthews Police Department is actively seeking assistance in locating Zayohnna Adiva Harris, a 16-year-old girl reported missing since yesterday. As per the information provided by the department, Harris was last seen at the Microtel hotel situated on Matthews-Mint Hill Road, neighboring Butler High School. She is described as being approximately 5 feet tall and weighing around 140 pounds, with a distinctive physical appearance characterized by a brown ponytail with two French braids on each side and brown eyes. Her identification is further aided by a tattoo with the name "Tony" on her left inner wrist, complemented by two nose piercings; one is a stud, and the other is a hoop. The police have shared that she was observed last wearing a jacket or sweater paired with black pants, according to WSOCTV.
Community members have been urged to keep an eye out for Harris and report any potential sightings to the authorities. The Matthews Police Department’s notice as reported by WCNC's report, emphasized the importance of this engagement, noting, "Anyone who knows where she is should call 9-1-1."
