On Tuesday, Mayor Andre Dickens collaborated with The Atlanta Women's Foundation (AWF) to reaffirm his administration's dedication to improving the status of women and girls in Atlanta during the city’s annual Community Investment Celebration. Dickens, joined by city officials and foundation leaders, highlighted the tangible results of AWF's grant initiatives, particularly recognizing those who made it all possible.
Held at the notable Atlanta City Hall, the community and media were given exclusive access to an announcement about new investments aimed at strengthening programs and initiatives that directly benefit women and girls in the city. Candace Stanciel, City of Atlanta Chief Equity Officer, Fiona Bell, Director of State Government Affairs at Novelis and Board Chair of AWF, and Kari B. Love, CEO of AWF, all addressed the audience in a display of solidarity and purpose.
