Residents heading to the beach or Biscayne Bay can enjoy good conditions and a low risk of rip currents in the morning, according to NBC Miami. However, storms are expected in the afternoon, which could cause flooding in some areas.
Francine, now a post-tropical cyclone, is expected to bring heavy rain to areas from the Mississippi Valley to the Southeast. The National Weather Service is also tracking Tropical Depression Seven in the eastern Atlantic, which may strengthen into a tropical storm. While it could become Gordon, its impact on land is considered unlikely, according to forecasts.
Miami's weather this weekend will remain consistent, with a 50% chance of rain on Sunday, according to NBC Miami. Showers and thunderstorms are expected to continue into next week, but a slight decrease in rain chances might provide some relief from the frequent storms and heat.
