Midlothian Chamber of Commerce recently had the privilege to host more than 50 first responders during their annual First Responders Appreciation Luncheon, an event underscored by its significance as a time to both honor and remember fallen heroes. According to the Midlothian Police Department, this luncheon, presented by Methodist Midlothian Medical Center, sought to emphatically celebrate local heroes and pay tribute to those who lost their lives during the tragic events of September 11, 2001. The event reportedly created an unforgettable day.
The extended community played a crucial role in supporting the luncheon, with contributions coming from a diverse group of local businesses.
