The Milwaukee community continues to mourn 19-year-old Sade Robinson, who was tragically killed in April. A new mural at Pizza Shuttle on the east side now honors her memory. Robinson, a beloved employee known for being a customer favorite, lost her life after a first date ended in tragedy, as reported by WISN.

Local artist Ruben Alcantar devoted approximately 20 hours to creating a mural that portrays Sade Robinson surrounded by pink clouds, her favorite color. In his effort to capture Robinson's essence, Alcantar also had to face the profound sorrow of a community mourning the loss of a young woman whose potential will never be realized. "I'm a radio for the community, and I broadcast what they need to see," Alcantar said in a statement obtained by WISN.

"She elevated people," said Sheena Scarbrough, Robinson's mother, who was interviewed by WISN. "I want everybody to remember Sade in her positive light. The lives she helped, and the lives she touched.". Meanwhile, Maxwell Anderson, 33, is charged with first-degree intentional homicide, and the search continues for the rest of Robinson's remains.

The mural not only honors Robinson but symbolically gives a voice to a life cut short. "I’ll let this speak for itself," Alcantar told Fox 6 Now. The art serves to both celebrate Robinson's life and continually remind the Milwaukee community of the deep impact she left behind.
