The community of Cedar Park breathes a collective sigh of relief as Lawrence "Bob" Lynd, an 86-year-old resident of the Enclave at Cedar Park Senior Center, has been found in good health. Lynd, who was reported missing early Sunday morning, was safely located later the same day, the Williamson County Sheriff's Office confirmed. He had last been seen at the senior living center at 3405 El Salido Parkway, having left the premises on foot through the front door around 4:30 a.m., as per KVUE.
A Silver Alert had been issued following his disappearance, an urgent broadcast in specific cases when an elderly individual goes missing. Lynd, described as about 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing approximately 205 pounds with grey hair and blue eyes, became the subject of a wide public appeal for information that might lead to his whereabouts. According to News 4 San Antonio, he was last seen wearing "a black and white striped oversized hoodie, black pants, and black shoes with white soles."
Details regarding Lynd's discovery have not been publicly shared, but the Williamson County Sheriff's Office has expressed gratitude to the citizens whose efforts contributed to the positive outcome. "Deputies thanked the public for helping get Lynd back safely," reported KVUE.
