
Residents of North Austin faced a perilous situation on Wednesday night when a fire engulfed an apartment complex, resulting in injuries to three individuals. The Austin Fire Department (AFD) quickly responded to the emergency call from the Pathways at Northgate apartment complex located at the 9300 block of Northgate Blvd, as reported by KXAN. Reports from the scene indicated that one unit was "heavily involved," with the blaze threatening to spread to the attic and the roof of the building.

The extent of the injuries sustained is yet unknown; however, the Austin-Travis County EMS (ATCEMS) were at the scene providing treatment to the affected residents. The AFD crews were working diligently to prevent the fire from expanding to other parts of the complex, according to a KVUE report.
Meanwhile, AFD shared on social media that one apartment was "heavily involved," and the fire was "spreading to the roof/attic," with crews "working on extinguishment," as per KXAN. The response to the conflagration was swift, with efforts to contain and extinguish the fire underway as the situation evolved.
