Oakland International Airport (OAK) has introduced WhereWeFly, a new digital tool designed to help travelers explore the airport’s 48 destinations. The platform is now available on the San Francisco Bay Oakland International Airport website and provides an interactive experience for users planning their trips. With an easy-to-use interface, travelers can quickly navigate OAK’s extensive network of destinations.
According to Craig Simon, Director of Aviation at the Port of Oakland, WhereWeFly aims to improve the overall travel planning experience. It offers detailed destination information, allowing passengers to streamline travel arrangements and make more informed decisions. The tool, developed by FlightPath3D, integrates directly into the website, offering a seamless experience for users.
WhereWeFly features a 3D globe that lets users explore flight routes with panoramic views and zoom capabilities. It also includes a filtering system to help passengers search for destinations based on their preferences, making it easier to find the best options. Additionally, the platform connects travelers to airline booking portals through a convenient flight calendar.
The tool also introduces a social aspect to travel planning. Users can save videos, create custom trip playlists, and share them with friends and family. This feature adds a collaborative element to the travel process, allowing groups to plan and enjoy trips together more easily.
