
The Oklahoma City Police Department is currently investigating what has become the city's 64th homicide following a fatal shooting at a hotel on Monday night. According to OKC FOX, at approximately 8:34 pm, police were called to the 5400 block of North Lincoln Boulevard, where they discovered 38-year-old Michael Trojak deceased inside a hotel room.
Upon responding to several callers requesting medical assistance around 8:30 pm, authorities found Trojak with injuries consistent with a gunshot wound; he was quickly to be pronounced dead at the scene. While police investigate the incident as a homicide, they are reviewing footage from nearby cameras to potentially gather further details, as reported by News9.
Details surrounding the shooting are still emerging. The Oklahoma City Police Department has not made any arrests in connection with the case. An altercation reportedly occurred inside the room prior to the shooting, but no suspects have been identified as of yet.
