Scott A. from Omaha hit a big jackpot in Las Vegas last week. He was playing Pai Gow Poker at Planet Hollywood and had an amazing winning streak.
Scott won $1,620,470 after an hour and a half of play when he got a seven-card straight flush, a rare and incredible hand. His first thought was to call his wife and share the good news.
The incident is also covered by FOX5 Vegas, which confirmed Scott's bonanza at Planet Hollywood and his short stint at the table that evening, ostensibly there for a football game yet leaving with a pot of gold. Scott told FOX5 Vegas that his jackpot success left him in such disbelief, that his immediate reaction was to inform his spouse of their good fortune.
Scott plans to invest his $1,620,470 instead of spending it on extravagant luxuries. He believes this is a wiser choice than gambling more or spending it on flashy Vegas experiences.
