
An individual was seriously injured in a collision involving two vehicles and a motorcycle on Wednesday afternoon in South Austin. The accident, which took place shortly before 3:30 p.m., occurred at 800 East Stassney Lane and prompted a response from Austin-Travis County EMS medics who have since designated one person as a "trauma alert", as reproted by KXAN.

In the chaos of the unfolding scene, medics attended to the adult victim, later ferrying them to Dell Seton Medical Center with serious, potentially life-threatening injuries according to CBS Austin. The Austin Fire Department was also present, aiding in the critical response operations. The incident caused significant traffic disruptions, warning drivers to anticipate delays or find alternate routes, which became a necessity as lanes remained closed for several hours.
