Residents of West Winds Apartments in Orlando can sigh relief after a potentially dangerous situation was quickly contained on Saturday afternoon. According to ClickOrlando, fire officials said that crews were originally en route to another call when they diverted to the apartment complex upon spotting flames through the clubhouse roof at around 5:31 p.m.
The fire, which was reported at the 5100 block of Eastwinds Drive, damaged the roof of the apartment clubhouse. According to information provided by WFTV, firefighters used two tower trucks to douse the flames effectively.
