Paramedics and officers from both the Rockville City Police Department and Montgomery County Fire Rescue were, dispatched to the scene, where they found Ramos with severe injuries.

Despite immediate medical attention and being rushed to a local hospital, Jose Rene Del Cid Ramos succumbed to his injuries. CRU detectives are piecing together the events that led to the fatal encounter between man and machine. The driver of the Nissan has not been charged at this point and is cooperating with investigators.
