The Philadelphia Police Department is reaching out to the community, seeking information about two individuals involved in a recent act of vandalism. According to their release, the incident occurred in the early hours of August 22, 2024, on Walnut Street, where the two unknown male suspects were caught on camera defacing property with graffiti, causing an estimated $500 in damages.
Descriptions of the suspects have been provided. The first is characterized as a white male with dark hair and a mustache, spotted wearing a gray hat, black t-shirt, tan pants, and white sneakers. His accomplice, a black male also with a mustache, was wearing a red and blue hat, black jacket, and black pants, according to the police report. The police have cautioned the public not to approach these individuals but to contact 911 immediately if they are seen.
The Central Detective Division is handling the investigation and has made a point to ensure that all tips received will be kept confidential. Community members with any knowledge of the crime or the suspects are encouraged to come forward.
