Officials in Pittsburgh are conducting an inquiry into a fatal shooting that transpired on the fringe of the Crawford-Roberts and Bluff neighborhoods, resulting in one death and leaving two others critically injured. The incident occurred before 8 p.m. when a ShotSpotter notification of ten rounds being fired alerted law enforcement and emergency services to the location, as detailed in a public safety blotter published by the City of Pittsburgh.
Upon arrival at the intersection of Fifth Avenue and Marion Street, first responders discovered three gunshot victims, one adult male was in grave condition when transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced deceased shortly thereafter, while a second adult male and one adult female, both found with significant injuries, were rushed to surgery and remained in critical condition, the blotter stated.
