The Pittsburgh Police Department is seeking assistance from the community in locating Robert Small, a 51-year-old man who has been missing since early September. According to information released by the Pittsburgh Public Safety Department, Small was last seen at his place of employment on Bedford Avenue. His residence on East Carson Street has also lain empty since his disappearance on September 4, leaving friends and co-workers deeply concerned.
Small stands 6’4” tall, weighs 170 pounds, and is distinguishable by his brown eyes and black/gray hair done in braids; he may struggle with some cognitive impairments and has an aversion to loud noises, often taking extra time to respond when addressed. The police have noted that he is familiar with areas such as the Hill District, Point State Park, and possibly Oakland and is known to navigate the city primarily on foot or by public transport. To cast a wider net, authorities urge anyone who might have seen Small or has any relevant information to step forward.
