If you have an escrow account, you don’t need to worry about this; they’ll handle it for you. Contact the Treasurer's Office if you’ve recently paid off your mortgage and don’t get a tax statement. If you have issues or don’t receive your statement, call them at 564-397-2252 or request a duplicate online.
For those who favor convenience over camaraderie, Topper has your back. There will be a drive-through drop-off available at the Public Service Center parking structure on the eve and the day of the deadline, October 30 and 31, respectively. As for payment methods, you can use your checking or savings account online with no additional fee looming over the transaction. But, should you reach for your debit or credit card, expect a $3.95 vendor fee or 2.39% vendor fee, respectively, a cost that applies whether you're in the digital realm or doing business face-to-face.
