Constable Mark Herman's deputies hit the streets of the 24800 block of Kuykendahl Road to answer a call about a suspected car burglar, and they didn't come back empty-handed.
Yesterday, deputies from the constable's office found Mark Moreland, caught on video surveillance allegedly breaking into a vehicle, a scene not unfamiliar to the authorities. This wasn't Moreland's first run-in with the law, as further investigation revealed a connection to another car burglary, as reported by Precinct 4 Facebook post.
According to a post on Constable Mark Herman's Facebook page, The man, identified as Mark Moreland, was no novice. With at least two prior offenses, he was sent straight to Harris County Jail. "Mark Moreland was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Burglary of a Motor Vehicle with two or more previous convictions. He is awaiting bond out of the 184th District Court," Constable Herman stated.
