The state of Texas has intensified its manhunt as the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) recently elevated Adiah Namir Roberson, a 17-year-old from San Antonio, to its list of top 10 most wanted fugitives. This development follows charges of murder after Roberson allegedly shot and killed a drive-in restaurant manager in Bexar County back in July 2024, according to a notice published by the DPS. Besides murder, Roberson faces charges for the forgery of a government document. The DPS, alongside local law enforcement, is working in tandem to apprehend the teenager who is now among Texas' most sought-after fugitives.
Roberson, who stands at 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs approximately 110 pounds, is distinctive with several piercings – located on her nose, lips, face, and eyebrow, as detailed by the DPS. Texas Crime Stoppers and Crime Stoppers of San Antonio have both put forth a combined reward of up to $10,000 for information that could lead directly to her capture. Tips that can help secure her arrest must be provided through dedicated channels to be eligible for the reward, with anonymity assured for all informants.
The DPS urges the public not to engage with these fugitives directly, as they are considered armed and dangerous. Instead, information about Roberson or any most-wanted fugitives can be discretely conveyed by calling the Crime Stoppers hotline, submitting a web tip via the DPS website, or through a Facebook tip on the department's official page. Tipsters will be given a unique number for follow-up rather than having to use their names.
