Last night, the local police arrested a 21-year-old man for possession of an unregistered firearm. According to the San Mateo Police Department, the arrest occurred around 9:00 p.m. when officers on routine patrol spotted a vehicle parked illegally in a red zone on South Delaware Street and 31st Avenue.
A records check revealed the car's registration was suspended. The driver and sole occupant, Prince-John Sese, a Milpitas resident, gave officers his consent to search the vehicle. During the search, officers discovered a loaded Glock handgun without a serial number and two realistic-looking replica firearms. Sese was subsequently arrested for firearm-related charges and booked into the San Mateo County Jail.
The authorities have charged Sese with multiple violations, including carrying a concealed weapon in a vehicle, carrying a loaded firearm in public, and failing to meet the Department of Justice firearm requirement. These offenses, as per California Penal Codes 25400(a)(1), 25850(a), and 29180(b), reflect the gravity of carrying concealed and unregistered weapons.
