Seattle's law enforcement is currently on the lookout for two suspects involved in a recent bank robbery, as reported by the SPD Blotter. The robbery took place at a Wells Fargo branch located on the 500 block of Terry Avenue North. The incident unfolded this past Tuesday just after noon.
According to the SPD, during a heist that lasted only moments but disrupted the day's tranquility, the first male suspect handed a note to the teller demanding cash. His accomplice, another male, stood watch. After the teller complied, both suspects fled the scene with upwards of $9,000. Detectives from the robbery unit were promptly assigned to the case, but the suspects had vanished before officers could apprehend them.
The Seattle Police Department has given descriptions of the suspects. Suspect #1 is described as a white male, ranging from 40 to 60 years old, outfitted in a black beanie, black sunglasses, and black headphones. He was also wearing a distinctive red Adidas hoodie with white stripes on the arms, complemented by light blue jeans and black shoes. Suspect #2 is a white male, aged between 25 to 40, who sports short gray hair and a beard. He was seen wearing a dirty white face covering, a black hooded sweatshirt, brown pants, and brownish-gray boots.
Authorities are now seeking the public’s help identifying the two men believed to be behind the robbery. The department urges anyone with information to come forward.
