St. Cloud Intersection Closed and Residents On Alert After Water Main BreakSource: St. Cloud Police Department

A broken water main in St. Cloud has closed a significant intersection, causing disruptions throughout the city. On Saturday, the intersection at Canoe Creek Road and Pine Tree Drive was forced to shut down due to substantial water flowing onto the streets. According to the WESH report, the St. Cloud Police Department responded to the situation by directing traffic and recommending that drivers take alternative routes.

Officials reported that the incident has not only brought traffic to a temporary standstill but also potentially compromised the water supply to nearby residents. The Toho Water Authority has informed residents in the vicinity that they may experience low to no water pressure as efforts to isolate the break fully are underway.

City crews are working diligently to halt the water flow and start repair activities as quickly as possible. A report by ClickOrlando confirmed that "Crews from OUC and TOHO are on scene."
