League City is bringing back its popular community event, Astronomy in the Park, this Saturday, September 7, at Rustic Oaks Park. After a summer break in July and August, this gathering is perfect for all levels of amateur astronomers.
The free monthly event, as detailed on the League City's official website, welcomes people of all ages to explore the night sky from 7 to 9:30 p.m. They’re ready to help with any telescope you might have that’s been gathering dust, and binoculars are also welcome for a closer look at the moon’s craters or Saturn’s rings, without the hassle of a tripod.
Participants will have supervised access to different telescopes, providing a safe and guided experience for exploring the galaxies. The event is designed to be educational and interactive, so you won't just wait for your turn at the telescope—you’ll likely leave with some new astronomy trivia to share.
No registration is required. The event will be held at 5101 Orange Blossom, League City, ready to welcome everyone to a night of stargazing.
