A round of ammunition discovered by a student at Olentangy Liberty High School yesterday morning prompted an immediate response from school officials and local authorities. According to ABC6, the school enacted safety protocols and carried out a threat assessment in collaboration with the school's SRO, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office, and Olentangy's safety and security team.

While no evidence indicates a direct threat to the school or individuals, the incident has not been taken lightly. "We are grateful that the student reported their findings to school officials," Mike Starner, the Principal, said in a statement obtained by ABC6. He highlighted the gravity of the school's place in such situations and mentioned that additional patrols would be present as a precautionary measure.
