A suspect has been nabbed following a violent incident in northwest Harris County. Deputies, responding to a reported aggravated robbery on September 2, were called to a Walmart parking lot where an individual was attempting to sell a $4,000 watch through Facebook Marketplace. The seller was confronted by an allegedly armed man who stole the timepiece before fleeing the scene.

An investigation ensued, utilizing a photo provided by the victim from the suspect's social media profile. Collaboration between the deputies at Constable Mark Herman's office and the Cy-Fair ISD Police Department culminated in a positive identification of the suspect. According to a Facebook post by Precinct 4, "A photo array was completed and the complainant was able to identify Hassan Mohamed as the suspect and a warrant was filed for his arrest."

Mohamed's arrest occurred yesterday, following the issuance of an arrest warrant. Constable Mark Herman's office provided confirmation of the arrest and the charges, noting in their social media announcement, "On September 11, 2024, the warrant was executed. Hassan Mohamed was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Aggravated Robbery with a Deadly Weapon. His bond was set at $35,000.00 out of the 179th District Court."
