San Antonio police are actively seeking a suspect following a shooting at a bus stop that left a man in critical condition. The incident occurred early in the morning today, around 12:46 a.m. near the corner of Bandera Road and West Skyview Drive, as reported by KENS5.
While waiting for a bus, the unidentified victim was shot multiple times by an unknown assailant. After arriving at the scene, responding officers found the man with gunshot wounds to the foot, mid-thigh, upper rear thigh, and chest. The suspect, at this point unidentified, remains at large with police yet to have any witnesses or solid leads, according to information obtained by News 4 San Antonio.
The victim, whose identity has not been released, was transported to the hospital in critical condition. The exact motivation behind the shooting remains unclear, but police are considering the possibility of it being a random attack.
