Officials report that the suspect entered the store, located at 5320 N. Florida Ave., and brandished a firearm to demand money from an employee. Surveillance video from the scene captures the suspect engaging in this threatening act. According to FOX 13 News, the suspect, who has yet to be identified, managed to swiftly take money from the worker before fleeing the scene.
Witnesses last saw the alleged robber departing the Circle K on a bicycle, heading east on Giddens Avenue. Despite the tense situation, Tampa police have confirmed that no physical injuries occurred during the robbery. The suspect has been described as wearing a baseball hat, dark hoodie, and denim jeans, accompanied by a dark-colored drawstring bag, these details were corroborated by WFLA News.
