According to a post by the Baltimore Police, officers recovered a Taurus G2c handgun, along with ammunition, subsequent to the suspect's apprehension.

On Sept. 12, 2024, at around 6:30 p.m., detectives were conducting an investigation in the Pennsylvania Avenue and West North Ave area.

At around 6:30 p.m., authorities detained a suspect and recovered a firearm, highlighting concerns about gun violence in the city. The suspect was taken to the Central Booking Intake Facility and will face charges related to possessing and possibly using the gun. The case will proceed through the legal system as usual.
The identity of the arrested individual and specifics regarding the charges have not been publicly disclosed at this time. The Baltimore Police have, however, noted that the individual has been charged accordingly regarding the handgun possession.
