Deputies from Constable Mark Herman's Office were dispatched to Fairfield Meadows Drive on Wednesday for a welfare check, where they encountered Maliak Jones, a man whose name later pinged for two pending warrants from the Katy Police Department, reports local authorities.
Jones, identified by deputies at the scene, was obliviously standing at the intersection of past deeds and their consequences he had warrants for Evading Detention and for Unlawful Carry of a Weapon and both were bound to weigh him down, as per Precinct 4 Facebook post.
Constable Mark Herman's office detailed in a Facebook post, the arrest of Jones, stating, "Maliak Jones was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail for his open warrants. His total bond was set at $6,203.00 out of County Court 10."
