Fans of Taylor Swift and autumnal festivities take note: the Maryland Corn Maze is bringing a Swift-themed experience to Anne Arundel County this fall. For those wishing to wander through corn stalks that pay tribute to the pop icon, the maze features an expansive 300-foot guitar, heart hands, musical notes, and other Swift-inspired designs. Opening on September 14 and running weekends through November 3, as detailed by WBALTV.
According to WBALTV, the 8-acre corn maze is a long-standing tradition, having sprouted up annually since 2006 at the county's largest remaining farm parcel located at 389 Gambrills Road in Gambrills. While losing your way might be part of the fun, there's a 16-foot tower in the center with a staff member ever-vigilant, and ready to offer guidance. This friendly assistance ensures that even the most directionally challenged can relish in the themed experience designed to delight Swifties and casual visitors alike.
The site isn't just about paying homage to Taylor Swift’s music with a maze, as WMAR2News reports, it's also about live entertainment. On October 2 from 5 pm - 7 pm, fans can experience Kanin Wren's Taylor Swift Experience, a live concert likely to be the highlight for many a die-hard fan. This performance joins a list of on-site attractions that include a hayride, petting farm, and even a paintball setup, ensuring there's something for the entire family.
Entertainment aside, the farm also boasts several other activities for a full day of fun. Among them are pony rides, slingshots, ziplines, and even a gigantic straw pyramid—because sometimes you need to take a break from Swift singalongs and indulge in some old-fashioned farmyard antics. Tickets are already on sale for this Swift-tastic escapade, and while parking is free, space is as limited as the chances of snagging front-row seats at a Taylor Swift concert. Hence, carpooling gets the thumbs-up from organizers.
