Last Saturday, a 13-year-old was walking in Itasca when the teen, whose name hasn’t been disclosed, reported being approached by a group of 5 to 6 young males, ranging from adolescence to early adulthood. One of them showed a firearm and took the youth’s iPhone, according to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police.
The incident near S. Grand led to a response from District 1 officers around 3:00 p.m. and is now central to an ongoing investigation. Authorities are working to gather evidence in their pursuit of justice.
