A theft incident at a local Academy store led to the arrest of three suspects, one of whom allegedly pulled a firearm on deputies. The theft occurred on Spring Cypress Road, where deputies from Constable Mark Herman's Office quickly detained two individuals, Terrion Strange and Tiffanee Law, after being flagged down by the store manager. The two were accused of concealing merchandise and leaving the store without paying, which was valued at $460.04.
While responding to the theft report, deputies were compelled to pursue a third suspect, who fled on foot. In a drastic attempt to evade capture, the suspect reportedly drew a firearm. Despite this, deputies managed to track and apprehend the suspect, identified as Donta Ingram. The arrests took place yesterday and were publicized in a Facebook post by Constable Mark Herman today.
"They were arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail. Terrion Strange and Tiffanee Law were charged with State Jail Felony Theft due to previous convictions. Donta Ingram was charged with Class B Misdemeanor Theft and 2nd Degree Felony Aggravated Assault on a Police Officer. Their bonds and court information have not been set at this time," Constable Mark Herman outlined on social media.
