A pedestrian's life was cut short after a vehicle collision late Tuesday night in Del Valle, as reported by KXAN. The incident, which unfolded just after 11:00 p.m. in the 10200 block of Doyle Road, happened near the crossroads with FM 812. According to the Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services (ATCEMS), despite immediate life-saving efforts upon arrival, the individual succumbed to their injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
KVUE reports that the road was closed after the accident Tuesday night and further details about the road's current status have not been disclosed, the medical response team which included ATCEMS, Austin Fire Department (AFD), and Travis County Fire Rescue was dispatched to the 12000 block of Doyle Road, where they located the casualty and administered CPR but were ultimately unable to save the person.
As of now, the identity of the deceased has not been released as investigations are ongoing.
