The manhunt for a suspect in a triple shooting at a Colerain Township bar has reached its conclusion in Central Florida. Samuel M. Jordan III, the accused shooter, has been taken into custody on a murder warrant and a fugitive from justice charge following the deadly altercation that occurred in August at The Office on Springdale Road. FOX19 reported that Jordan is currently being detained at the Orange County jail in Orlando, and the details of his court appearance or potential extradition to Hamilton County are not yet precise.
While celebrating at a karaoke night hosted by The Office, a dispute escalated into gunfire, resulting in the death of 41-year-old Christopher Potter and wounding two others. Local12 disclosed that Potter was pronounced dead at the scene, and the other victims, a man and a woman suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries and were rushed to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.
The Office bar, which advertised the event through its social media account as a birthday party with free food, became a crime scene, with police believing the shooting was not random but the outcome of an argument. The authorities quickly identified and issued a murder warrant for Jordan, who remained at large until his recent apprehension by Apopka Police near Orlando.
Colerain Township Police have urged anyone with information about the shooting to come forward, as the investigation is still ongoing. WLWT reported that while held in Florida, Samuel Jordan III awaits the legal processes that might bring him back to face the consequences of the fatal events that night at The Office bar. The United States Marshals Service is also involved, indicating the seriousness with which this case is being pursued. As for the motive behind the shooting, law enforcement has not released any statements yet.
