On Wednesday, what began as a routine traffic stop on Spring Stuebner Road unfolded into an incident leading to the arrest of two individuals. Deputies from Constable Mark Herman's Office enforced a stop on a vehicle, only to find that the passenger, Marion Forbes, had an existing felony warrant for Assault Impeding Breath. The situation further escalated when the driver, identified as Johnetta Shaw, hindered the deputies’ efforts and subsequently required detainment.

In the confrontation that arose during the traffic stop, the law enforcement's routine procedure quickly transitioned to an arrest scenario. According to a post by Constable Mark Herman, Shaw's non-compliance necessitated her also being taken into custody.

With both individuals arrested and processed, the legal proceedings took their course. "They were arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail. Marion Forbes was charged with the felony warrant and his bond was set at $100,000.00 out of the 178th District Court. Johnetta Shaw's bond was set at $100.00 out of County Court 9," detailed Herman in a Facebook post.
