
Two individuals lost their lives in a devastating multi-vehicle collision that occurred in Pasadena yesterday, setting off a thorough investigation by local authorities. The incident, which involved a total of five vehicles, unfolded at the intersection of Allen Genoa and Richey Road, as reported by ABC13.
According to the Pasadena Police Department, the call came in at approximately 2:12 p.m. prompting an immediate response to the scene at 2099 Allen Genoa Road and 2201 S. Richey where one vehicle was engulfed in flames leading to one confirmed fatality within it another passenger from a different vehicle was also pronounced dead at the scene, as firefighters worked to extinguish the blaze, police and emergency personnel attended to the casualties, with one person hospitalized suffering from major injuries and several others were treated for an array of less serious injuries arising from the wreck.
The area surrounding the crash site was cordoned off for several hours as investigators combed through the wreckage in an effort to piece together the events that precipitated this tragic occurrence, as per the details provided by FOX 26 Houston. While the investigation persists, the authorities have not yet released a complete tally of those injured nor have they disclosed the identities of the deceased pending notification of kin.
