Tragedy struck Grand Haven Township when the Ottawa County Sheriff's Office deputies found two individuals deceased inside a home on Saturday. Following a call where concerning comments and a possible gunshot had been heard, as reported by WZZM 13, deputies arrived at a residence on the 14900 block of 178th Avenue around 9 a.m. The area was secured upon their arrival.
Attempts to communicate with the occupants inside the secured area proved futile. The Ottawa County Sheriff's Office Critical Response Team was dispatched to the scene, where they successfully gained entry to the home, as FOX 17 Online detailed. Inside, they discovered a male and a female deceased. The names of the individuals have not been released to the public.
Local authorities are investigating the incident. The sheriff's office has informed the public that there is no ongoing threat related to it, as confirmed in a release reported by WOODTV.
