Two individuals were arrested late Saturday night in Mattapan following a violent altercation that left two men with stab wounds. According to the report from Boston Police Department, the suspects apprehended have been identified as Luxury Lee, 29, of Fall River and Kamaree Lee-Eliot, 26, of Dorchester.
The police were called to the scene around 11:18 PM, to 70 West Selden Street after receiving a distress call about a fight. Upon arriving, the officers discovered an adult male with a stab wound who was later rushed to a local hospital with injuries reported as non-life-threatening. The incident rapidly escalated when another victim claimed to have been pistol-whipped by the suspects, which subsequently led to a police chase and the recovery of an illegal firearm. It appears that officers were able to quickly place the male suspect under custody without incident and went on to safely recover the weapon after the female suspect attempted to initially flee the scene.
The weapon recovered by the police has been described as a Polymer 80 Ghost Gun, featuring a high-capacity magazine with sixteen rounds and a laser sight attachment. These details further underline the potential for greater harm had the officers not intervened swiftly. The police were later informed of a second male victim who had self-transported to the hospital, likewise suffering from non-life-threatening stab wounds.
Both suspects are facing multiple charges including Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Unlawishment of Ammunition, and Unlawishment of a Large Capacity Feeding Device, with Lee-Eliot also being charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon. The Boston Police Department has confirmed that these individuals are expected to be arraigned in Dorchester District Court soon after the incident. The arrest and the swift recovery of the firearm represent a chilling reminder of the prevalence of weapon-related crime in the community and the role of law enforcement in mitigating these threats to public safety.
