Perry is described with brown curly hair, brown eyes, stands 5 feet 7 inches, and weighs approximately 130 pounds. WCNC reports that Perry has Asperger’s syndrome, a form of autism, and the Iredell County Sheriff's Office suspects he may have run away. The boy was last spotted wearing a gray T-shirt, dark pants with holes in them, and black shoes, according to officials.
The case has prompted law enforcement to deploy search and rescue resources, including canine units and drones. Officials have not yet determined Perry's intended destination, adding to the urgency of the situation. Despite actively trying to trace his steps, there's still no clear indication of where he might be heading, as per WSOCTV.
The urgency of the situation is magnified by Perry’s age and his cognitive condition, prompting the authorities to issue an endangered alert. They are appealing to anyone with information to reach forward and contact the Iredell County Sheriff's Office, as per the QC News.
