In the early hours of the morning, a startling disruption occurred in a residential neighborhood near the Guadalupe River when a vehicle crashed into a house located in the 11900 block of Guadalupe River Drive. Harris County Sheriff's Office (HCSO) deputies were quickly on the scene after responding to the incident at approximately 2 a.m., according to CW39.
The occupant of the home, identified only as a female resident according to CW39's report, was asleep at the time the vehicle intruded so abruptly into her abode. While the driver of the vehicle has yet to be officially detained, HCSO has confirmed to the public that their investigation is actively underway.
Complementing local police efforts, Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and the Fire Department (FD) were also dispatched to the address, a detail further detailed in a social media update by HCSO. Fortunately, preliminary reports from these emergency responders suggest that there were no immediate reports of injuries following the collision, though the extent of the damage to the property remains unclear at this juncture.
