As summer ends, West Allis invites everyone to the final event of its Summer Concert Series. On Thursday, The Hungry Williams will bring swing, blues, and rock & roll to Veterans Memorial Park.
According to the City of West Allis announcement, the series finale promises to be a great event, with local food trucks like Rose Mob Grill and Carrie's Crispies serving delicious food and 1840 Brewing Company providing craft beer. In addition to the food and drinks, you can enjoy vintage vibes with retro items from Ultratwist Vintage, which you might even take home if you find something you like.
Veterans Memorial Park, at 6900 W. National Ave. is a lively spot with more than just music. It features an award-winning fitness court, bocce courts for a relaxed game, and a newly renovated playground with zip lines and climbing equipment. The City of West Allis sees this end-of-season event not as an ending but as a celebration of community. From 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., locals are invited to bring chairs or blankets and enjoy the open-air music starting at 6 p.m. It’s a great chance to connect with neighbors, friends, and local talent.
