
A carjacking incident has shaken the Tower Grove community as a 40-year-old woman was forced out of her vehicle while armed suspects made away with her 2018 Dodge Charger. According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, the crime occurred on September 22 in the parking lot of a 7-Eleven located in the 3100 block of Morganford.
The victim recounted a harrowing tale where, while attempting to enter her parked vehicle, she was ambushed by at least three male suspects. Clad in dark clothing and hidden behind face masks, the crew pointed their firearms, demanding she relinquished her belongings still inside the car. Wearing masks, the suspects told her to exit the vehicle swiftly.
In her statement, the woman detailed how she was then pulled from her car mercilessly; two of the suspects subsequently entered her vehicle and sped off, leaving her in a haze of fear but physically unharmed. The St. Louis police have not reported any physical injuries associated with this distressing episode.
The investigation into this unsettling event is ongoing, with detectives tirelessly piecing together the sequence of events in hopes of apprehending those responsible.
