Deputies from the Harris County Sheriff's Office are conducting an investigation after a woman was found dead from a gunshot wound inside a northeast Harris County apartment early this morning. KHOU 11 News reported the incident was first posted on social media by Sheriff Ed Gonzalez shortly before 8:30 a.m.
The deadly scene unfolded at an apartment complex located at 5619 Aldine Bender near the Eastex Freeway. Currently, details surrounding the circumstances of the woman’s death are scarce, as this story is still developing. The identity of the woman has not been disclosed to public as of yet.
Homicide detectives have been dispatched to investigate the scene. HCSO's X account confirmed their detectives' en route status to the complex where the tragedy occurred.
