
Tragedy struck yesterday night in Akron as a well-known bail bondsman was shot while on duty. Frank Frazier, known in the area as "Bounty Tank," was attempting to serve a warrant with his team when an unforeseen attack unfolded. According to News 5 Cleveland, the shooting occurred in the 1100 block of 7th Avenue around 8:15 p.m.
Upon arrival at the designated house, the scene rapidly deteriorated as someone fired multiple shots, Akron police confirmed. Frazier, struck in the torso, was immediately rushed to Summa Health Akron City Hospital in serious condition. Amidst a chaotic backdrop, the Akron Police Department detained several individuals at the house, including a 16-year-old boy and an 18-year-old man, each with outstanding warrants. WKYC reports that shell casings and other evidence were found at the scene.
