
An unsettling incident occurred in Annapolis when a woman was found deceased in her car from multiple gunshot wounds. As reported by WMAR-2 News, the crime occurred yesterday afternoon in a parking lot on Forest Drive.
According to Annapolis Chief of Police Edward Jackson, the call came in around 4:50 p.m., bringing officers to the grim scene. The victim, a woman in her 50s, was found having sustained a fatal gunshot injury inside her vehicle. "My prayers go out to her family. She belonged to somebody. Somebody loved her," Chief Jackson stated, as per FOX Baltimore. The authorities have not disclosed her name as the investigation progresses.
Further details indicate that police are searching for a suspect described as an African American female in her early 40s, roughly 5'8" tall, with blonde hair. Investigators are reviewing camera footage from the area, which shows a late model blue Toyota leaving the scene, believed to be connected to the incident.
The police department has issued a caution, stating that the individual and the blue Toyota Camry, with a Maryland tag number, should be considered dangerous and not be approached.
