Scheduled for its debut in March 2026, the event will see the collaboration of these three sporting heavyweights in creating what's been touted as a "racing’s next global spectacle." The details were put in place as Arlington gears up to add another feather to its cap in the sports and entertainment domain.

Announced with considerable fanfare, the 2.73-mile track will intriguingly weave its way through Arlington’s core sports and entertainment district, with AT&T Stadium and Globe Life Field serving as prominent backdrops. Roger Penske, Penske Corporation chairman, has publicly committed to fully deliver an unforgettable racing weekend. According to the City of Arlington's news publication, Penske expressed gratitude to all partners, declaring, "Everyone involved is fully committed to delivering an incredible and unique event weekend for the City of Arlington."

With the build-up well underway, the INDYCAR Grand Prix of Arlington is set to join the ranks of other prestigious events in the NTT INDYCAR SERIES. The series, known for its mixture of race circuits and speeds surpassing 230 mph, will feature the Grand Prix as its latest jewel. Texas Rangers President of Business Operations & COO, Neil Leibman, conveyed excitement about this new venture, emphasizing that to truly shine, they would have to work hard to solidly position this new event within the Arlington Entertainment District.
